OrganoClick AB

OrganoClick develops and supplies a range of unique environmentally friendly materials and bioadditives used for the functionalization of fiber-based materials such water repellent textiles, wood resistant to fire and fungal decay and stronger paper.

OrganoClick AB is a spin-off company from Stockholm University and the University of Agricultural Science in Uppsala, Sweden. The company has developed a set of cost competitive and environmentally methods and materials based on modified cellulosic materials. Examples include OrganoWood - a modified wood that is protected to fire and biological deacy, and OrganoTex - a technology to make textiles water reppellent without using any harmful substances. The company was recently appointed as “Sweden’s most promising start-up company 2008” by winning the competition Innovation & Technology Award 2008 and was awarded for “Sweden’s best clean-tech innovation 2008” by a large consortium of Swedish governmental agencies. In 2010 OrganoClick was also appointed as a Climate Solver by the World Wildlife Foundation – WWF. The company started its first production facility in Stockholm in March 2011 where it also has its head office and R&D-laboratories.
